This is Illegal in Singapore is an intimate performance that invites voluntary participants to engage in a conversation with the artist over a home-cooked meal**. The duration of the performance varies depending on the time of the course of the meal. Selective parts of the conversation will later be documented and archived as a recipe. This encounter is part of a more extended research project examining cultural relativism and the role language plays.
The identity of the participants is kept anonymous in respect of their rights and privacy. Participants may withdraw from this project at any time, given that this engagement is voluntary in nature.
